Thankful.

The evening before I ran my first marathon I received an email from my first running mentor. An avid triathlete with multiple Ironman finishes to his name he was no stranger to competition so his final words of wisdom took me by surprise.  “Kick ass tomorrow. Run hard, have fun and don’t forget to smile!!
