Last week kicked off my first official week of training for the Boston Marathon! My training plan was created and customized by Beth Shutt from Your 26.2. Shutt has an extensive (and rather impressive) running resume dating back to high school when she was a Pennsylvania state champion for several track and cross country events.
Road racing is: nervous anticipation, the piercing sound of the starting gun, the rush of adrenaline that surges through your body as you jolt from 0-60 in milliseconds and the raw determination that arises when the finish line comes into sight…. and I loooove it. And boy do I miss it!! It is no accident

While I love the holiday parties, decorating and extra family time that coincide with the holiday season, maintaining your workout routine between Thanksgiving and New Years is just plain tough! There is simply so much more on your to-do list! Here are 3 things I do to always fit in my workouts (and generally maintain
